Q. What are your business hours.

A. 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. After hours contact numbers can be found on the contact page of our web site.

Q. I am an owner occupier of an apartment and I want to paint the outside of my unit, can I just go ahead and do it?

A. You should check the rules governing your body corporate before going ahead, often there are restrictions in these rules regarding paint schemes for the building. The repainting of the building exterior is often scheduled and paid for by your body corporate so it pays to check first. Your Body Corporate secretary can provide you with a copy of current the rules if you can’t find your copy. If you are a client of APM you can download a copy of your body corporate rules through our APM Online Extra service.

Q. Who are the owners of Auckland Property Management?

A. APM is owned by Howard Morley, he is our sole director. Check out his short biography on our contacts page.

Q. How do we go about appointing APM as our body corporate secretary

A. There are a number of variable factors that can determine the process required, we can make the process of change easy for you but we will need to understand your circumstances first. Either use our ‘request a proposal’ form on this website or contact our business manager Craig Vaughan via our contacts page on this website.

Q. Can I pay my rent monthly instead of weekly.

A. Yes of course, if you choose you can pay fortnightly or monthly, we only require that you pay your rent at least one week in advance

Q. Who should I contact if I can’t resolve a dispute with my landlord.

A. In the first instance, contact your property manager. If are not a tenant client of APM or you do not have a licensed property manager handling your property, we suggest you contact the government agency known as’ Tenancy Services’ for further advice, their contact number is 0800 836262.
