Auckland Property Management will be holding FREE property investment seminars every month in 2019.

As a prudent investor,  you will already be aware that Property Management involves a lot of risk so at Auckland Property Management our focus is on risk reduction strategies for our owners.  One way we do that is by facilitating FREE monthly property investment seminars for our investors on the many hot topics of interest to our clients.  Our first one in March was on the Capital Gains Tax and Increasing the equity of a property, you can read an overview of the event here.

Our second seminar of the year will cover the legislation passed in December 2017 as the Healthy Homes Guarantee Act.  This Act covers rental housing standards with specific focus on heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture, and draughts.

After a brief overview of the Act, we will then open the floor for Q&A with guest Scotney Williams from Tenancy Practice Service (TPS).

Scotney is a consultant on tenancy law and property management who will give you the legal interpretation of exactly how this new Act may affect your landlord obligations, to help take some of the confusion currently facing investors.
